Paul has over 25 years of legal experience mainly in the area of litigation with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation, insurance defense, creditor’s rights, construction related litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency. Paul also has experience in commercial transactions, financings and securitizations and provides commercial, business and litigation advice to both public and privately owned businesses.
After living briefly in London, England, Paul returned to the Prairies and specifically to Calgary where he could pursue his second love – rodeo. He’s passionate about rodeo and was Chairman of the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Committee (2013-15), a longtime volunteer at the Stampede and its Rodeo Committee in particular. He was also past Chair for the Calgary Laurel Awards and was a Co-Chair of Concessions for the ‘96 LPGA DuMaurier Golf Tournament in Edmonton.
Paul and his wife Leigha enjoy spending quality time with their family.
