Dib Tripathy is an associate with Walsh LLP and primarily practices in the area of civil and commercial litigation.

Dib’s passions for travel and interest in experiencing diverse cultures have taken him on numerous adventures around the world.  Dib’s travel experiences, coupled with his affinity for team sports, provide Dib with strong values and distinct perspectives which assist Dib in thinking outside the box while offering creative and client-orientated solutions to complex litigation matters.  Dib believes in being a zealous advocate for advancing his clients’ interests and position while providing his clients with an effective and cost-efficient solution for the resolution of any dispute, regardless of the complexity.

Dib obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta.  During his time in law school, Dib participated in numerous intramural sports and engaged in various social clubs and initiatives. During his time in law school, Dib also acted as the Vice President of Fundraising for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, represented the school at the Hockey Arbitration Case Competition and the annual Law Games event.  Prior to attending law school, Dib obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) at the University of Alberta.

Away from the office, Dib focuses to spend his free time with family and friends. During his spare time, Dib also participates in a wide array of recreational sports, specifically racket sports, and strives to volunteer to give back to the community. Dib is constantly focused on improving his advocacy skills and as such can be usually found in social settings, engaged in fierce debates regarding the supremacy of his beloved Calgary Flames.
