Articling Student



Erin is an Articling Student at Walsh LLP.

Erin Gellhaus is a Student-at-Law at Walsh LLP. As an articling student, Erin assists in many areas of law and has an interest the areas of wills & estates and employment law.

Erin attended law school at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops before transferring back to her adopted home and completing her law degree at the University of Calgary.Throughout her studies, Erin volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Queen’s Bench Amicus Program.

Erin loves traveling, with some of her favourite places to date being India, Iceland and Mexico City. While completing her undergraduate degree, Erin spent a semester living in Thailand implementing play programs in schools. Erin went on tocomplete a Master’s degree in Sport Management at Northumbria University in the UK where she also played varsity basketball.

Prior to her decision to practice law, Erin worked in non-profit sport at the provincial and national level for alpine skiing where she planned domestic and international events, and managed grant funding. These experiences shaped her solutions-oriented approach and passion for helping people.

Erin grew up in Canmore and loves any excuse to get back to the mountains whenever she can to ski, mountain bike and golf.
