Lauren Garvie is passionate and tenacious in finding a resolution for her clients.
Lauren attended law school at the University of Calgary, where she was the recipient of the Bishop & McKenzie Centennial Prize for a high standard of performance in civil procedure. Prior to attending law school, she graduated with a communications degree with First Class Honours, and completed a thesis paper on online environmental advocacy in networked public spaces.
Lauren has explored and developed her primary interest in litigation and appeared at the Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court where she has represented clients on a variety of matters.
Lauren is passionate about the fight against family violence. She has volunteered at Calgary area women’s shelters, and during law school she was part of Pro Bono Students Canada’s Emergency Protection Order Project.
Outside of the office, Lauren spends all of her time with her horse, TacoBaby. On the weekends, Lauren and TacoBaby can often be found barrel racing. Lauren and her husband live on a ranch south of Calgary.
