Michael is an Articling Student at Walsh LLP.

Michael is an articling student at Walsh. While he is looking forward to gaining experience in various practice areas at Walsh, he has a strong interest in contract and estate litigation, as well as dispute resolution. Prior to starting law school, Michael had a previous career as a registered nurse practicing in mental health. Michael went on to complete his Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan in 2020.

Michael discovered his passion for advocacy in law school, where he won awards at the the Denton’s Negotiation Competition, Canadian National Negotiation Competition, and Davies Annual Corporate/Securities Moot.

Michael has found that his constant desire to learn is a perfect fit for the practice of law. In his spare time, Michael enjoys walking his dog, hiking, and travelling. Prior to law school, Michael volunteered in Ghana working with trafficked children, and at a pediatric hospital in Nepal. In law school, Michael volunteered on a mental health court research project with Pro Bono Students Canada.
