Usama is a corporate commercial lawyer whose practice focuses on secured lending, commercial real estate, and leasing. He has experience representing a diverse range of clients including borrowers, institutional lenders, financial institutions, and developers. Usama also assists clients with the acquisition and disposition of their business and commercial real estate and works closely with developers on purchase and sale agreements and regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Walsh LLP, Usama completed his Articles at a national firm in Calgary. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2023 and has since developed a growing practice serving both local entrepreneurs and national corporations with a range of corporate commercial needs.
Outside of the office, Usama enjoys working out, hiking, photography, and is also an avid listener of R&B music.
